We are a family based real estate and auctioneering company located in Tecumseh, Nebraska.  Our owner, broker and auctioneer is Randy L. Speckmann.  Since opening our doors in 1990, we have gained the real estate and auction experience necessary to obtain the best prices for farm land.  In fact, our broker and many of the agents on our team also farm and/or grew up in a rural area.  This combination of experiences gives us a unique insight into the local market and the ability to capture the best prices for our sellers.

Our auctioneering business was started by the Speckmann family over 21 years ago.  Randy often tells the story of him, his wife Elaine, and their two daughters sitting at the kitchen table addressing sale bills to be mailed out for auctions.  At the auctions, Elaine and the girls would often clerk while Randy auctioneered. 

Back then, everything sold was written out by hand. Now the auctions we conduct are completely computerized, increasing accuracy as well as speed. This provides an excellent opportunity for both the buyer and seller to have a professional auction experience.  We also print full color sale bills right here in our office. This dramatically cuts down on errors, as well as turn-around time & shipping costs. 

Today, we have a professional staff of 9 people to accomplish each auction we we average about 25 auctions a year.  Our auctions consist mostly of farm land, farm machinery, houses and personal property auctions, including antiques. 

We are dedicated to staying current with technology to improve the buyers’ and sellers’ experiences.  As mentioned above, our auctions are completely computerized.  We also conduct auctions through online bidding and advertise our auctions and real estate online.
